Larry E Wallace

BIO: LARRY E. WALLACE, RHU, LUTCF
Larry entered the insurance industry in early 1972. He worked for a company specializing in the sale of disability insurance to business owners and professional people. Larry opened an independent agency, Wallace and Associates, which is now Larry E. Wallace Financial, in January of 1980. In April 1991 Larry opened a brokerage general agency called Disability Insurance Clearing House. For several years he worked full time helping agents find top quality disability policies for their clients.  Years later after seeing up close and personal how tremendously valuable disability insurance benefits were to his disabled clients and their families, Larry realized he wanted to find ways to be of greater benefit to his present and future clients. He joined a group of other financial professionals and entered a field of study that has lasted several years and will continue as long as God continues to give him the ability to learn and grow. He finds great joy in helping individuals and their families realize their financial goals.

In 1986 Larry was honored as the recipient of the WH Andrews, Jr., CLU Member of the Year award given by National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors–Greensboro.

In 2008 Larry was honored as Advisor of the Year by National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-North Carolina.

Larry is currently a member of the following organizations:

The Society of Financial Service Professionals – Greensboro, North Carolina

Larry is a member of Christ United Methodist church in Greensboro where he has served as lay personnel committee chairman, as a board member and as church treasurer. He is also a member of the Greensboro Kiwanis Club.

Larry has been married for over 40 years to Wendy Wallace, who is an artist and also a financial services registered representative. Larry has three grown children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
